2nd order
2nd order is a client-side practice app for chess coordinates, music reading, Braille letters, and the periodic table. Everything runs in your browser; there is no account system and no server-side profile of you as a visitor.
We do not collect personal information for analytics, advertising, or profiling. This project does not install third-party analytics scripts (such as Google Analytics), advertising pixels, or similar trackers. We do not build visitor profiles or sell data.
Your practice sessions stay on your device unless your browser or hosting provider collects routine technical data independently (for example server logs at a host). This app is not designed to read or store your name, email, or identity.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, data protection law may apply. This site is operated without behavioural tracking or marketing cookies. Processing is limited to what is needed to deliver the pages you request and optional functional storage in your browser (for example remembering cookie preferences).
You can clear site data at any time through your browser settings. If we ever add optional analytics, we will ask for consent first and describe it here.
We may use browser storage only for essential, functional purposes — for example remembering your choice on the cookie notice (accept or reject). Rejecting optional storage is as easy as accepting: use the Reject button on the banner. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising or analytics. Core practice features work without optional storage.
